Short Inca Trail to Macchu Picchu
2 days / 1 night (T02PA1)
[Day 1]: - Around 5:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the train station. We will travel by train for 4 hours. Then we will visit the Chachabamba archaeological complex (2150 m). The trail goes south and climbs the hillside, at 8 km ascending trail, and after approximately 4 hours we arrive at the archaeological complex of Wiñaywayna (2700 m.) Then we continue via the Sun Gate until we reach Aguas Calientes to camp. Boxed lunch included.
[Day 2]: - We will take the early bus to Machupicchu, which only takes 25 min. Then there is a guided tour in the archaeological site. After midday we come back to Aguas Calientes to take the train to Cusco (4 hours).
