Follow the path of the last Manco Inca and visit the last stronghold of the Incas: Espiritu Pampa. Explore the ancient Incan remnants in Cusco by day and enjoy its nightlife after the sun sets. See the famed, enigmatic city of Macchu Picchu.

[Day 1]: Arrive in Lima - Check in to your hotel.

[Day 2]: Fly to Cusco - We will meet you when you arrive in the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Andean history comes alive in Cusco which is considered the Mecca of Peru. Quechua speaking descendants of the Incas fill the streets and markets. This beautiful colonial town offers much to the visitor with its nearby ruins, narrow cobblestone streets, museums and churches. In the afternoon we tour the Incas' most prominent sites around Cusco such as Saqsaywaman, Qenqo, Tambomachay, Pucapucara and Qoricancha, the most important Inca temple.

[Day 3]: Cusco - You have a choice of rafting in the Urubamba River or horseback riding in the surrounding area of Cusco.

[Day 4-12]: Vilcabamba - Espiritu Pampa Trek - This is a strenuous hike that takes you from the highland (13,150) feet to the jungle where you will experience the ever-changing flora and fauna. You will visit archaeological sites like Lucma Rosapata, Nusta Hispana and native villages such as Yupanca, Consevidayou, Vilcabamba, etc. You will arrive at the lost city of the last Manco Inca Espiritu Pampa That was rediscovered in 1964. It is a unique and unforgettable experience to witness the beautiful Andean landscape with its high trails and ruined cities half-hidden in the rainforest. The route we take is incredibly interesting and wild. (SEE OUR VILCABAMBA TREK PROGRAM)

[Day 13]: Cusco - You will be free to explore the Puma city on your own.

[Day 14]: Machu Picchu - We will leave early in the morning for a 4 hour train ride to Machu Picchu. You will have a 2 hour guided tour and after that free time to explore the Lost Citadel of the Incas. We will return to Cusco by train to arrive at night and transfer you back to your hotel.

[Day 15]: Sacred Valley - We will depart at approximately 9:00 am by bus to the sacred Valley. This tour includes a visit to explore the archeological site and colorful market in the city of Pisaq. We will then travel along the valley to the ancient Inca city of Ollantaytambo and visit the Inca fortress. We will arrive back in Cusco around 6:30 pm.

[Day 16]: Fly to Lima - We will transfer you to the airport in the morning for your flight to Lima.

[Day 17]: Return to Airport - Fly home from Lima.
